Located in Gilford, NH’s Lakes Region – close to BankNH Pavilion, Weirs Beach, Funspot, Alton Bay, Town Docks and a 1/2 mile to Gunstock Mountain Resort. Designed and owned by an HGTV designer. The Gunstock Shanty was purchased in 2024 and was tirelessly renovated. The Shanty was designed with a rustic vibe – bringing nature in, while creating an inviting, cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The live edge Mulberry wood throughout the home was crafted by the owners and was their childhood tree. This magical homestead quickly became an adored retreat to spend downtime enjoying nature while skiing, hiking, boating and just being.
The owners home renovations have been featured in her show, Restoring Salem on HGTV. She loves getting to know and cater to her guests, making sure they have a fabulous stay. Her passion is turning distressed properties into show-stoppers; creating beautiful, functional and fully stocked homes for an authentic guest experience.
